K I am posting this here, and I also posted it elsewhere in News and Updates, but there are so many ways, we can all do our part, even it is just sharing the love with your friends and family, remember EVERY little bit helps!!

I made a post on the Duran Duran boards that I also frequent, posting about Elliott and his upcoming CD, new pics of him, and links to hear Movin On, etc, and I got a huge amount of responses, alot of them were from people who absolutely LOVED him on AI..then just kinda..well not forgot about him, but didn't "follow him" like we do!! So many of them appreciated the update, some joined his myspace, and a bunch said they would buy the CD!! Sometimes, people just need to be "reminded" a lil' bit! That it is why even though we may seem like just a handful, this "handful" can do SOOOOOO very much in getting that word either BACK out there, or out there for the first time to some folks!! There are sooooooooooo many more E fans then just us here, but I like to think of us as the "Cr"E"am of the Crop!! heeeeeee heeee!! xxoo;)

update: as of just a few min ago, 162 people from the Duran Duran board alone, READ my post about E;) Doesn't mean that everyone will DO something about what they read, (though I have had quite a few wonderful responses!) or listen, or even buy, but I like to think ++++++++, and I bet a good % did, and will!!

I will do another update from a mom's board I talk on, a little later;) I only posted there just today, as some of them are really starting to get into AI again, ....gotta think SMART!!!

Have other folks tried posting at websites they visit? Or talking Elliott to friends and family? If so, please let us know what has (and what hasn't!) worked.

The E-train's always been good at grassroots efforts. I firmly believe it's part of why we could get him into the Top 3 on AI (and so, so, so close to top 2).

Another thing, I have a wonderful "Elliott bag/purse" that Chloewannabee made for me, and whenever I go to the mall, etc, I use that bag, and you wouldn't believe how many people ask me about it!! That gives me the perfect excuse to mention his CD!! Just a few weeks ago I was in toysrus, and the young guy who waited on me FLIPPED RIGHT OUT over my purse, and we talked for like 15 min about Elliott!! He said he LOVEDDD him on AI, and thank you so much for letting him know about the CD cause he would definetely be getting it!! I also bought the cookbook last year, and sent it to my dad, which told him about him, and my mom, and mother and father in law HAVE no choice cause that is all I talk about...(lol, no they loved him last year too!), my daughter tells ALL of her friends, and I make sure to let the mom's at my son's school know about him too. When I went to Maine last weekend I made sure to tell friends I hadn't seen forever about him, (some didn't watch AI...helloooooooo..lol) and they said they would check him out. I blast his music at drive-thru's and have had people recognize who it is that way too!! Dentist offices, Doctors, Salon's, work, anywhere you can think to do it, DO it!! Elliott has been nothing but gracious to his fans, and I believe he deserves the same right back!!

Oh...and another way...I am having a good friend of mine, who loves E too, make me a bunch of Elliott photo/clear window clings to put on my car!! Nothing promotes better, than a car driving around with E on it!!

okay so i'm copying you YELLIN!!!!!!!!!.I posted this yesterday in Updates and News,
Today(yesterday), at work, we had a celebration for Black History month. There were a bunch of presentations on different aspects of black history, including, black inventors, statesmen, poets, customs, and of course, musicians. I was asked to do a presentation on Donny Hathaway, by one of the committee, who has often confused my Donny cd's with my Elliott cd's. Anyway, during my presentation, I had a Donny cd playing in the background. It was kind of cool, I felt like I was back in High school, giving a report.
So at one point in my report , I said how Donny has been such a big influence on so many young artists of today, "like India Arie, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, and most recently, Elliott Yamin" At that point, all 60 people started hooting and hollering and cheering for Elliott.I almost started crying, I was so happy. Everyone was saying" we KNEW you'd bring him in to this somehow".It was so awesome!!!!!.
Then my boss got up and announced that Elliott's cd was dropping on March 20th, and we were having a cd release party for the office!!!
( he doesnt know what he got himself in to when he told me I could do this!)
I plan on making a complete Chloe out of myself!!!
