I had the most unexpected surprise while grocery shopping today. At our local Kroger store while waiting for my receipt to print, I also got a checkout coupon stating "Buy any 2 Dole Salads between 3/1/07 and 3/31/07 and get a FREE exclusive Elliott Yamin song at Yahoo! Music" To the right side isa most delightful picture of the album cover with the announcement "Debut Album out 3/20/07" Just wondering if other store chains are offering the same coupon. Needles to say I will be buying more salad!!! :woohoo:

I know Kroeger's is an East Coast grocery chain, I wonder if we will have something similar here on the West Coast?

I just sent an assignment to my sister. She's not into music but she knows just about everything there is to know about every special offer by anybody. She belongs to several bulletin boards and "refund circles." Give her a few days and she'll probably know every city and store that has a similar offer. :lol:

I have my sister working on this. She's thrilled that I finally asked her for a favor involving coupons. So far she has found someone who got one at a Kroger's in NC and who threw it away because she "didn't know who this Elliott guy was." Can you imagine???

Hey I admit I usually pitch 'em too! This one definitely caught my eye because I do know who it was. I just thought it was a very clever promo but am afraid the clientele who shop at Kroger in my area won't know Elliott either.
