The promotions and articles about Elliott's music are working.

Has anyone else noticed that "Wait For You" has had over 20,000 plays since the count reset Tuesday morning - less than 24 hours ago? Also, Elliott now has over 17,000 MySpace friends. Best of all, his Amazon sales have climbed back to #29 as of right now.

A pretty good day for Elliott.

I too have been quite impressed with the level of promotion he is receiving at this stage. There's definitely a high level of anticipation for the release and he is doing so well with the pre-orders and the digital single. The sneak peeks and snippets are creating great buzz as well. The roll-out is very logical and seems to be building each week with radio, tv appearances, in-stores, etc.

I had to laugh when I read on another baord which shall remain nameless, that "it looks like E won't have to resort to selling CD's out of the trunk of his car afterall". Hardly. Elliott and his team are doing it their way and seem to be doing a darn good job of it IMO.

Hey, Ludacris was underground for years before he got picked up by a major label and I'm sure there are others but that's the name that came to mind quickly. No harm in grinding for a dream.

That's why I like the Yahoo bombing, people who don't know ELLIOTT or don't know he has an album out ( AI hasn't mentioned it) will know he has an album out.

For the past week, Elliott has been adding between 400-800 friends a day. There's one odd thing though. I also read the comments and two people have mentioned they didn't know who Elliott was and why there added. Don't you have to request to be added to somone's page. His team just can't add people at random, right? Strange.
