I calculated the rate that Elliott's myspace friends number increases for the last 31 hours
I know the sample is not big enough but for that time, he has a new friend every 2 minutes and 720 friends every 24 hours.

I just love to see those numbers grow every day!

I'm really "sick" but in a good way I guess. I've been tracking since November. Right now he's at 18,536. He's gained over 14,000 friends since the end of November.

Wow. That's great. I remember when he had 5,500 and that seems like a month or so ago.

Maybe that can be my role, the official myspace friends tracker. :lol:

It's crazy if you just look at how many times his music has been listened to in one day....almost 17,000! It really is astonishing!

I'm not a big myspace person, but I did just add Elliott as a friend, and I've noticed that his friends have been increasing lately. He's movin' on up in the music world.

Everyone should visit the MySpace at least once each day, in order to maintain good numbers there.

I created a myspace account specifically for E. I want to know how I can post to his myspace. It says I have to be invited or something. How do I do that?

When you go to his profile you should be able to add him as a friend. Once you're approved you can post messages to him!

I make sure to visit E's MySpace page everyday, I agree with Ohioguy. Last time I looked, he had over 400,000+ plays. This is all very encouraging. Even if you don't have Myspace, you can type "Elliott Yamin" and find his Myspace page through a google search. It's the first or second result usually and you can listen to the music which adds to that number as well as how many times the page has been visited.

Sign into your MySpace account. Go to Elliott's MySpace account. Click on "Add Me" which is located under his profile picture. It will take to to another screen which will ask if you want to be added. Click that you do. A message will come up stating that a message has been sent requesting approval. Once approved, Elliott's picture will appear on your MySpace profile as a friend. You can then post a message to Elliott on his MySpace.

It's a lot faster to be approved now than in the past. It's not immediate, though.
