Hey Richmond Etrainers...should we all gather together to greet Elliott at Circuit City as royal supporters from the Etrainstation??? We could all meet at 5:00pm somewhere. Any comments or ideas?

Well - you're right - It's gonna be packed - I wonder what their occupancy limit is - ha! I'd say at least an hour early. Maybe if the weather is good he can make a "parking lot" appearance.

I'm glad to see the Circuit City event is later in the day. Now I won't have to take the whole day off work. Just leave EARLY!! Do you know I have never been to anything like that? A first time for everything!! YAY!

I do not work far from there (thank goodness) and I really don't think they have a big parking lot, but the Short Pump Mall is right there. Beat we will have to park and Run (I mean Walk calmly) over there. :etrain:

What an absolute mob scene that's going to be! It would be great to get a signed CD, though. I guess that's what he'll be doing? I've never been to one of these things before. Just author book-signings - much more subdued. Okay, I'm a dork.

I'm up for us local Etrainers to meet somewhere earlier. There are lots of places along west Broad street to meet. It's gonna be sooooo exciting! Do you think we may need to make some signs or banners?

I work in Jersey City and planned to go to the Virgin Mega Store. I just found out I have to go out of town on a business trip that day. I think I am going to have to quit my job!!! :etrain:

i am going to regis and kelly so i'll be hanging out in the city all day. I'll prolley go over to times square around lunchtime, and scope it out.

I live in Houston so I won't be there but I am planning on being sick that day so I'll be there in spirit! :rocker:

I can't wait till his appearances start up. I don't post here much I know shame on me. lol Anyone doing the LA stuff? I just confirmed tickets for Kimmel but they don't have his name listed for the 4th just 2 other people.

I want to go to the Best Buy signing but I don't think it'll work since it had to be on a friday when I have my once a week class which I can't really miss :(

I'll be working in Short Pump on the 21st, so I would love to meet up with your guys and then go over to Circuit City!

Who knows how to get banner making materials? I think that's a great idea - an ETrain Banner. I have no idea how - but this is a good plan.

I ordered a nice banner from www.onedaybanner.com for my business, but not sure if we have enough time at this point. It would be good to have a nice banner that we could reuse when the occasion arises.

Why do they call it onedaybanner if we can't get one in ten days? :rotfl: I do think we need one we can reuse. Wonder if anyone in town does it faster.

Hehe...I don't know. Maybe there is time with the onedaybanner people. But, if we can get it local that would be even better.

Wonder if Grace Street would let us use the banner from the Etrain website? Or would that be too expensive with the pictures?

Or we could go a different route and say something about Elliott's Richmond stop on the ETrain. Wait - the ETrain pulls into town - like the headline in the paper!

Yeah, I think it would probably run up into the money with pictures. But, I do think it would be nice saying "Richmond" and" E Train" somehow.

How about "Etrainstation Richmond says Welcome Home Elliott" ? It would be great if the banner were long enough for a number of us to walk behind it over to Circuit City.

I know someone who makes banners. I can inquire, but I believe it is quite expensive. Love the link to E-Train!
