Yes.com is a site where you basically say yes you like or no you don't like songs being played on over 2600 radio stations right as they are being played. Many stations monitor these ratings and it can affect airplays.

Everytime a radio station plays Wait For You, Elliott's picture will show up, you click on it and in the chat box you click on the thumbs up and hit enter to help Elliott's ranking go up. It looks like this might affect airplay.

Please don't give any other idol a thumbs down because it shows on your profile along with who you are giving thumbs up to...and people will react to that.

If you help other Idols out, their fan bases will usually also help you out. For instance, many of us have been giving some votes to Kat and in return her fans have been giving Elliott votes. Working together helps everyone and hurts no one.

Do I have to register?

It's short but worth it. Believe me. This site is addictive, and you'll get excited when you see Elliott's head pop up (meaning the song is being played somewhere).

Once registered, just leave Elliott's page open (the link posted above) and the site updates his spins in real time.

Oh, I don't mind registering at all, I was just asking if it was necessary. Sounds cool - especially not having to refresh constantly.

Remember...we have formed an alliance with Kat's fans on this. We can get so much more accomplished if we work together...so when Elliott's song isn't up, toss in a couple of votes for Kat as well, and mention you're an E-trainer. Kat has a lot of fans who use yes.com and their help will benefit our cause just as ours will benefit theirs.

Meant to add: Elliott's ranking on YES *might* be influenced by how many thumbs up he's getting. Salt Lake City, for example, has Elliott in rotation now, and they link to yes.com directly from their website and ask for people to rate and chat about their music. DJs make take a peak in there.

This is a lower priority than making requests, of course. But it's a good way to pass the time.

I registered last night, but I don't get this. I thought Elliott was being played, but the page I see says he hasn't been heard lately. help!!

Leave at least one window open to Elliott's yes.com page that you don't click from ever. This will log all his plays for the day. As soon as you click away from it, it erases his log.

you have to vote while his song is playing...and if it hasn't been played in awhile the page will say he hasn't been heard recently...he will pop up automatically when he's being played somewhere. :)

Right now, Elliott spins may be few and far between.
