Wow - thanks for the lineup. I wasn't going to watch, but there's some pretty interesting contenders this year. I think it will be an exciting round. I wonder how far Heather will go. She may get the sympathy vote re the leg, but there are millions of Paul lovers out there.
Thanks for the list.

Berkana - March 19, 2007 06:30 AM (GMT)
Apolo Ohno. I promised myself I wouldn't watch this year, because I hated last years....but if Apolo Ohno is one there I may just have too.

brwneydgirl - March 19, 2007 07:06 AM (GMT)
Berkana, I am sooo excited to see Apolo! I'm a fan of his, too. :)

AgentScully - March 19, 2007 02:15 PM (GMT)
Awesome! Love the Apolo fans! He alone is worth the watch for me.

I was (still am) a HUGE N Sync fan so i'm looking forward to Joey Fatone. But, he can already dance. But, not ballroom. So it should be interesting watching him try to pick it up.

mombell - March 19, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
i will be watching...loved mario last year and thought he should have won...i am curious of the competition this year...apollo and joey i am fans of, but again , this is another popularity contest...it is still entertaining

brwneydgirl - March 20, 2007 05:01 AM (GMT)
Apolo  He did great! Loved his footwork. I'm so glad to see Apolo fans here. :woohoo: You guys rock.

 sorry, I couldn't help myself.

mombell - March 20, 2007 03:40 PM (GMT)
there were some surprises for me...leliah ali really was amazing...of course joey did well...ian going first did not help him...john ratzenburg really surprised me

AgentScully - March 20, 2007 03:45 PM (GMT)
He did do great last night! He is such a cutie. And i like his partner too. Apollo that is.

I loved Joey and Kym last night too. I think they did a tremendous job. I forgot how much charisma Joey has. I really hope they can go far.

I LOVE Cheryl. But Ian just comes off as fake to me. I have never cared for him. I guess we'll see what ahppens as the show progresses.

I like Billy Ray Cyrus but he is a awful dancer. What did Karina do to get stuck w/ him? Major, major props if she can turn him around.

All in all, great show.

ThankYouElliott - March 26, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)

Yay, the Judges were nicer tonight! :rocker:

brwneydgirl - March 27, 2007 04:19 AM (GMT)
I have a crush on Apolo. I'm so impressed with him. Loved the pink and gray, too. It was hot.

Laila did awesome, and she is beautiful. Plus, Maksim is oh so hot.

ThankYouElliott - March 27, 2007 12:34 PM (GMT)

I'm in love with Apollo. I'm glad we didn't have to wait the whole 2 hours to see him this time! :rocker:

AgentScully - March 27, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
My faves of the night were Apolo and Juilanne. Julianne is so awesome and such a cutie pie! They was a fabulous routine she put together. It was quite refreshing, as the judges said. Apolo is really getting the whole thing now. Love that man! :thud:

brwneydgirl- Maks is just too hot to handle! *swoons* The man is perfection!

brwneydgirl - March 28, 2007 09:37 AM (GMT)
I was sad that Paulina and Alec had to go so soon. She was pretty good, actually. I would rather Shandi and Bryan have gone. They give me the creeps. Sorry. He wears too much make up or something. He scares me. Alec is freakin hot. I like watching him shake his bootay. He's such a good dancer. I felt really bad for them. Alec was the champ in season 1, and now he's ousted first. That sucks.

Oh my gosh, Apolo. Y'all are voting, right? Julianne is quite impressive as a dancer and a teacher at only 18 years old. She is adorable, too. I love them!!! I can't wait till next week.

AgentScully - March 28, 2007 01:23 PM (GMT)
I was hoping for Shandi and Bryan too. There's about Shandi that I just do not like.

Loved the group dance! Maks is just *fans self*. The HOTTEST! He's such a awesome dancer and a choreopher(sp?).

Aren't Alec and Edyta married? Or at least engaged?

brwneydgirl - March 29, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Alec and Edyta are a couple. I don't know if they're married yet. I think they're engaged. Not sure, though. Last year, I was rooting for Joey Lawrence who was Edyta's partner, and on their website Dancingwithjoeyandedyta.com, Alec posted a review once in awhile.

amandarhea - March 31, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)
wait im not the only Apollo fan. I had a guinea pig named Apollo Anton Ohno, when i was younger and clipings from news articles of him skating. I love him. Oh and of course i cant forget my fave Nsyncer. Joey. I love him and he can dance....I actually still have a poster of Nsync up in my bed room and a bobble head of him lol.

ThankYouElliott - April 2, 2007 01:43 PM (GMT)

I like bobble heads, but I don't own any! :rocker: :cheerleader: Oh yeah, DWTS is on tonight! :rocker: :cheerleader:

AgentScully - April 3, 2007 01:53 AM (GMT)
Why was the show cut so short? Or are ALL my clocks just wrong. :/

I missed all my faves tonight except for Maks. And that routine wasn't all that great. But on the brighter side of things...Maks and his brother. *drools* That is one good looking family.

elliottfan78 - April 3, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
I'm rooting for Apollo and Joey

It was on from 8pm - 9:45pm ET. Maybe your clocks autmatically sprung ahead over the weekend, since this was when Daylight Savings Time was supposed to start, and then we had to spring ahead a couple of weeks ago. They may show a recap tomorrow night.

Oh, yeah...I agree with you about Maks and his brother. Mmmmm. :thud:

AgentScully - April 3, 2007 02:56 PM (GMT)
Oddly enough, brwneyedgrl all my clockswere right except the computer clock. And as I read your post and happend to look @ the clock on my computer I realized the time was finally correct on it...lol.

brwneydgirl - April 4, 2007 06:07 AM (GMT)
That is bizarre, AgentScully. I am sorry you missed part of the show. :(

So, what did everyone think of this week's show and/or the results?

Berkana - April 4, 2007 11:16 AM (GMT)
Woo, I am glad Shandi is gone! Finally, she should have gone home before Paulina and Alec.

AgentScully - April 4, 2007 12:55 PM (GMT)
I'm glad Shandi is gone too! But, she did improve this week. Meh.

LOVED the group dance. As I always do.

Josh Groban was pretty good. Loved how Julianne and Tony(?) danced through the song.

Ciara? Whatever.

I'm glad Leeza/Tony wasn't voted out. Not necessarily because of Leeza but because of Tony. I love him!

Watching Maks dab the sweat off himself was the highlight of the night for me. Hee!

ThankYouElliott - April 4, 2007 03:03 PM (GMT)

What did Josh Groban sing? I can't deal with 1 hour Results Shows! :)

AgentScully - April 4, 2007 08:03 PM (GMT)
I have no idea what he sang. I really wasn't paying that much attetion. I normally like him but that song was just kind of "meh" for me. I was more interested in Julianne and Tony.

ThankYouElliott - April 4, 2007 08:10 PM (GMT)

Hmm, I'm glad I didn't waste an hour of time for a "Meh" song. Did I mention that I can't stand 1 hour Results Shows? :rotfl:

AgentScully - April 4, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
Yeah, IA. It kinda sucks. Though, I do love the group dances. But, they can do that within a half hour show.
Just say who got kicked off and be done w/ it!

ThankYouElliott - April 4, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)

Oops, I missed a Group Dance. Oh well.

AgentScully - April 4, 2007 10:02 PM (GMT)
I HATED Karina last year. But, this year she seems OK. Maybe I just feel sorry for her being paired w/ Billy Ray. Even though they seem to have alot of fans.

ThankYouElliott - April 4, 2007 10:03 PM (GMT)

Is Apollo single? Is that an appropriate question?

Me, too! I loved Tony and Julianne's dance. It was so beautiful. I didn't notice what he was singing. A lot of his songs seem too similar to me.

p.s. I LOVE your avi and siggy!

I know. I didn't like her last year, either. I was always so annoyed with her and Mario's love-fest. I wasn't jealous. It was just annoying, because they never would admit they were together, yet they were always kissing and being all goo-goo toward each other. Oh, and I didn't like how she acted when they didn't win. When Emmitt and Cheryl won, Karina acted like a sore loser. I agree that Billy Ray has tons of fans. He does have a certain charm about him, and he's pretty cute nowadays.

I don't know if he is still with her, but I believe he was dating a fellow short-track speedskater named Allison.

ThankYouElliott - April 5, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)

Aww, that's sweet. Allison is SO lucky! :rocker:  :valentine:

AgentScully - April 5, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
Sadly, I have to agree w/ you brwneyedgrl, Billy Ray doesn't look half bad.
He does have something about him that's pretty likeable.
And I agree w/ all your points on Karina/MArio last year. Man, they ticked me off.

What do you think about Cheryl/Ian this year?

ThankYouElliott - April 6, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)

They ticked me off, too!
