Title: "Alright" Needs A Video Released Now!

rockermanross - March 19, 2007 07:04 PM (GMT)
Damn good song! I cranked it up during my lunch break and I got everybody's booty going in the room. Needs a steamin' hot video to go with it and it's a certified hit!

I hope Elliott performs two songs at Ellen's show - "Alright" and other slow ballad of choice. Ellen loves to dance and she'd really dig this tune.

Lol, I haven't gotten there yet... I'm still listening to "Free"! :)

Rutti - March 19, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
Let us know when you get there, sox. Alright is definitely a booty-shakin' song if I ever heard one. Ellen will LOVE it!

gerryd - March 19, 2007 07:17 PM (GMT)
Listening to "Alright" for the 10th time at least. I love this song!! I'm getting nothing done - too busy dancing!

Gogo - March 19, 2007 07:31 PM (GMT)
I'm with all of you. It's my favorite. My hubby laughed as I was dancing and said don't break that booty. LOL I love the change of tempo in the song and the band sound. Now this is the Elliott I love.

Yes, this song is a nice surprise, I love it! Basically every song could be a hit!

lindagt - March 19, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
This song reminds me of roller disco (probably have to be a certain age to know what I'm talking about) - it is amazing and I could totally see a fun video for it!

You know Linda, I had thought of roller disco as well. Also, the song makes you want to do the "bump". Remember that dance. Hell, I'm so old I remember the jerk and the monkey.

E is showing us he can do ANY style of music. What a frickin' rocker! I do love "Alright", it reminds me of a funky "Shaft" vs. todays Justin Timberlake style music.

SoulMusicRocks - March 19, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
I'm going to post a review and such in the Music Thread, but wow, this CD is really incredible. I can't wait for tomorrow!!!!!

I may be the only one, but watching Elliott dance on Elvis results night, I loved his dancing. I wasn't that impressed on Gavin DeGraw song though, but it was fun to see him anyway.

When I heard it I thought of my 12th birthday party - my first boy/girl party dancing to the Commodores, The SugarHill Gang, the Gap Band, KC and the Sunshine Band, etc... with the strobes and black lights!!!
I love this song!!! :bunny:

Yes - Elvis night. Don't be Cruel (where he sounded just like Elvis) was a great number. Watch the others dancing while E sings -- Taylor looks so awkward. Always makes me giggle. I've always thought Elliott had rhythym -- any videos where he's shaking his bootie, he looks pretty smooth to me. Seeing clips of the AI Tour, when they are all dancing in a line, Elliott is the only guy who doesn't look like he has a stick up his backside!

The girl that lived next door to me when I was in my early teens had a Monkeys' lunch box with a thermos. I really disliked her. She also had a dotted bikini, and a nice figure.

Ask me what happended to her Monkeys' lunch box.

Go ahead ask.
