I'm hoping Suzy Tavarez will be spinning WFY when she has the call-in contest for tix to the Best Buy CD signing this Saturday.

Okay, the contest is over.
She didn't play WFY, but the female DJ did mention that Elliott's CD is dropping tomorrow, and that the winner of today's contest was getting the CD and "Front of the Line Passes" to the Best Buy event in Hollywood.
They'll be doing this contest everyday until the day before the event.

When I listened to the stream Suzy Tavarez described the passes as "Front of the Line" passes, so I'm sure that you'll have a chance to see Elliott if you go there without the "frontsies."

KIIS is promoting the heck out of Elliott! Practically at every break they say something about Elliott and his album. I heard them give away some tickets to one person--I got the impression they were going to give out more. One DJ said something about Elliott being in the Bahamas (today) but his passport situation didn't work out or something...Did I hear that right? Another DJ said that if you look on the KIIS site under sneak peak, you could hear the WHOLE ALBUM. I haven't been able to find it yet, if someone else finds it, please post it. I'm listening to the stream, if I hear anything else...

There's no doubt about that - without a champion like Ryan - Wait for You would not be having the immediate success it is having. Ryan is THE most visible guy all over the place in radio/entertainment/pop culture right now. His blessing means more than most folks will ever know - I'm glad he liked the song, and more importantly - I'm glad he liked Elliott. It DOES pay to be a nice guy (with the talent to back it up)
