So we had BIG plans here at the Lottery! we have a small, deeply disturbed Elliot fan club here, and I was going to pick up seven or eight discs on the way into work. Called my Target. . . they weren't going to have them in by 8am! WHAT? So then, fellow Yaminion Jo took over, called HER Target, oh sure ma'am, we'll have them up by 8am, no worries! Just got a call from Jo, nope. nary a one on the shelf. apparently a riot was breaking out there. so Jo, ever the wily one, decided to hit one more Target on the way in, but learning from our recent misfortunes, she called first, and was told she could only buy ONE. ONE? Well, who the heck does that help?? Well, it helps Jo, obviously! but not the other seven of us, hoping to have our CDs by now. Sometimes, it does NOT pay to live in the boy's hometown. I'm just sayin'. . . :bunny: :bunny:

Have you had a chance to check K Mart? I think that they had his CD in the Sunday's sale ad. I only bought 2 - wanted to leave some for others. :grouphug:

UGH at record companies! They can't sell what they don't promote and ship.

Richmond would definatley not be the city to undershoot the demand in.

you are a nice person, pdlvne, to leave some for everyone else! and i'm happy to report that Jo continued her odyssey this a.m. and stumbled up into a Target on Hull Street and purchased CDs for all of us! yeaaaah Jo. so i'm listening as i type. our crops are saved!

My dad just called me and asked how I am doing today. I said "great, i'm listening to my new Elliott CD." and I related our difficulties this morning. He said "i just can't believe that other people like him too!" isn't he cute? :bunny: :bunny:

Stupid Walmart didn't have them on the shelves yet. I asked one of the employees and she said they just got it off the truck and would have them out in about a half hour--argh. I had to go to work, plus I pass a Target on the way in, so I went there instead. Of course, I'll still have to get the Walmart version, it'll just have to be a bit later today. Luckily, I didn't lose it in Walmart, though for a minute, I thought I might!

I'm in Maryland and the Target right by me was sold out and the other said they never got any in yet! Wally world does so I am off there. At least we know Elliott is selling!!

What is wrong with these stores????? This is Richmond, people!!! Elliott's hometown. They are clueless. I'm furious about this!! I went to the Target at Libbie Place at opening this morning and they did have them - about 6-8 copies - I bought two. I would be willing to bet they are sold out by now. With this kind of attention to detail, it makes you wonder how much attention they will pay to inventory and re-ordering.
