I can't remember all of the comments but he didn't say much about Paris other than he'd heard she'd said some things about AI. In regards to Sanjaya he said that AI was first a tv show and that it took lots of courage to get up on the stage and perform. I missed the second thing he said about the show but he said lastly, AI is a talent show. I may have missed the meaning here in typing this but basically talent isn't necessarily the most important contestant quality.
Hope someone else is able to add what I left out.
At the very beginning he said to the djs that he was there w/ Sanjaya because apparently Russell has been mistaken for Sanjaya on their radio tour. How that could happen I don't know but it was really funny (well, maybe not for Russell, lol).
Elliott said, re in Paris' defense. AI is first a tv show, second a popularity contest.. (female dj said she could understand, she loved the way he and his Mom got along so well... Elliott said it was a hoax lol) and third a singing contest.
IT was so cool, had to drive my kid to school, and got to turn on the radio to LISTEN to what I could have been missing. Way cool to hear him talking on your local station!!!!!!!

Talking about the record deal again. I am confused. I thought E had said before that he heard that 19E wanted to sign him and he called Simon. Now, E is saying that he heard that they were not interested in picking him up and he called Simon.

I believe he said in another interview, that he first talked to Simon and then found out they didn't want to sign him. (not by Simon).

Grrr! I had the wrong station on. I was listening to 96.5 thinking he was supposed to be there at 9, and that I missed him on 102. I just switched to 102 after seeing this thread, and there he is.

Just listened to both Philly interviews this morning. Elliott was terrific. He was so relaxed and funny. And he's such a gentleman. He just won't say anything negative about anyone. The DJs from both stations seemed to be impressed with both him and his singing. This was just a wonderful morning!

I thought Elliott did very well with both interviews this morning. It was very apparent that the DJ's really liked him. The guy on the second interview kept saying what a really good live singer he is (this after E left). What's the deal with a new drummer?

It was very good. I have called both stations and requested WFY. Please call Q1021. (1-800-521-1021) and wired 96.5 (215-263-9650) and request WFY. Calling Q1021 was extremly easy - the phone wasn't busy. They picked up after my first attempt.

I thought it was maybe the fact that there was a different drummer in the AT&T Blueroom videos than he had on Ellen, etc.
Your welcome. they said they will have pictures and podcasts up on Q102 in 20 min.
The DJ's had some wonderful things to say about Elliott after he left. They also said he just talked to Justin Timberlake and he said he was great.
I so enjoyed them talking about Elliott after he left, so I taped it this time if you all want to give a listen. It's here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M3GVNCNB
I sent them a text thanking them for a wonderful interview... also had to add I was an OLD lady of 50 lol with a smiley of course.
Q102 has a MAJOR audience--one of the biggest pop stations in the country. Please do call in if you're local or have been livestreaming today.
Thanks for the recaps everyone.
I wanted to add this is the station that had Elliott listed twice on their local music survey. Don't forget to sign up if you are local (guess you can do it too if you aren't).
