What a great performance !!! His hand really brought on the tears. Loved the hug he got from Ryan, it was so sincere. I know Claudette was proud. Isn't he just the sweetest guy? I will be watching the tape over and over and that has got to be the best part of Idol Season 7 !!!
 BTW I think this is the first Thursday that they have not had a segment about Idol on Fox News at 10. I was surely expecting it tonight. |

I'm not happy that my video is so dark and since itslate and Gracestreet have some up now, I'm going to edit that earlier post to remove the link. I worked right up until the start of the show to get a better picture but was unsuccessful.

Yay to Sway!! So glad he is with Elliott. And you know Elliott is such a good person and had his good friends along with him . They were together in the beginning of the journey of American Idol as well. -------------------- My soul was stirred. It took the voice of Elliott Yamin to wake up my senses and bring me back into the world of music.

Not that it matters beans to an anthill(or whatever that expression is), but he was dressed to the 'nines' IMO. I thought he looked fabulous! Dayum it was great to see him again on tv, especially with the loss of Mama Yamin, it just soothes my heart, because even tho I already believed it, after seeing him tonight, I KNOW he is gonna be JUST FINE. What a brilliant performance! I love that song and as always he was perfect. It had to be an emotional evening for him. I'm thankful that AI has been so good to him, I truly believe they love him as we do. What a wonderful tribute to his mom. My thoughts continue for all of the family. Wow Elliott was great on AI tonight. So glad to hear him sing "Free". He is always so humble on the show and gracious. And, it's about time that AI acknowledged that Claudette had passed away. With her such a part of season 5, I had expected them to say SOMETHNG two weeks ago. Anyway, go Elliott and good to see Sway singing with the AI girls.

Ok, soooooo, I mentioned that I was gonna suprise my girls & not tell them about E performing. I thought I'd try to record their reaction & share it with ya'll. Well, I intended to only record their initial reaction, but got mesmerized watching E & kept recording. Honestly, I dunno how on earth I managed to keep the camera still, but I did. Ya'll don't have to watch the whole thing, but the girls reaction is pretty awesome. And some have said that Elliott's fans are only older women....hmmmmmmph. The fools.

I just LOVED...
Ryan's introduction -- simple and warm Elliott's attire -- very classy Elliott's performance -- amazing as always The message on his hand -- heart wrenching The REAL hug that Elliott and Ryan shared -- awwwww During Season 5, Elliott always seemed preoccupied with the cameras, trying to remember where to look, where to turn, etc. I noticed tonight he just decided to ignore the cameras and play to the audience. That's his comfort zone and watching from home, I didn't mind it at all. I also think that Mariah's performance paled in comparison! -------------------- Cathy in Orlando
